The people we imagine are the key element in stories, games, and roleplays. (The real people who participate here can be found under Members.) People are mostly what readers want to read about and gamers want to play. It's possible to write stories without people in them, but it's difficult and not usually effective or interesting.
However, people don't exist in a vacuum. They have relatives and families that affect them, and societies and employers.
